“The Refuge exists to be relevant as we lead our generation to God and connect people to a growing community of Christ-followers.”
It is the heart of The Refuge to show people that they matter to God, and that He wants an ongoing and growing relationship with each of us.
Values we are “Striving For”:
1. “People Matter to God” (1 John 3:16) We value people.
2. “Teaching is for Life-Change” (James 1:22) We value application of Scripture.
3. “Real Christ-Followers Grow” (2 Pet 3:18) We value growth.
4. “God is Honored in Excellence” We value excellence.
In our desire to honor Christ, we realize that we are called to be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). We also realize that we are admonished to do all things as unto God and not man (Colossians 3:23). Therefore, everything we do should be done with the highest quality and with the best attitude, in order to please God and not man (Ephesians 6:6).
5. “Every Member is a Minister” (Eph 2:10) We value service.
The Rufuge meets each Sunday Morning from 9:30 to 10:30 in the coffee house @ PCN. We would love for you to 'take time and smell the coffee' and join us this Sunday. Classes for children and youth available.
